This very practical and exceptionally robust trim clip spreader tool, crafted from steel, features small rubber pads at each end. These pads keep the tool at a distance of approximately 1 mm above the glass, which is crucial for two reasons: firstly, the rubber prevents the glass from being scratched, and secondly, the tool's tip cannot accidentally be pushed to the edge of the glass, thus avoiding any risk of damaging the edge.
